Theo Gossou, Ph.D., BCBA-D
Dr. Theo Gossou received his Ph.D. in psychoeducation from the Université de Montréal (UdeM). While training at the Applied Behavioral Research Lab of the UdeM, his research examined the internal validity of the methods of functional assessment of challenging behaviors in children with autism. He presently consults with universities, clinics, community organizations, and states to develop programs to empower other professionals and parents with best practices to reduce the impact of autism. The goal of his current research project is to describe how university programs train education, special education, and psychology students in management of challenging behaviors in children. Beyond research, his interest includes the dissemination of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and training teachers and healthcare professionals in foreign countries.
